She was predeceased by: her husband Jerry Monroe; her grandson Kenneth Greenwood; her parents, James Walker Prine and Gaynell Rogers Prine; and her siblings, Beatrice, Aliece, Beaulah, Pauline, Lois Marie, James Walker Jr., Thomas, Clinton Ray and Robert.
She is survived by: her children, William Greenwood and Sandy Hickman; her grandchildren, Lesley, Katie, Kelsey and Natalie; her great grandchildren, Marie and Kaiden; her sister Angelena Prine Kobs; and her half-brother Danial Prine. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Centuries Memorial Funeral Home Chapel (8801 Mansfield Rd, Shreveport, LA 71108). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
