He was predeceased by: his parent Leocadia LaCour; his son Sylvester Deldrage; and his siblings, Charles LaCour and Annie LaCour-Moore. He is survived by: his wife LaWaunda LaCour; his children, Brienne LaCour-Shepherd (Lester "Jay") of Shreveport, LA and Wade LaCour of Shreveport, LA; his grandson Solas Sylvester-LaCour Shepherd; his sisters, Barbara LaCour-Simmons of Lakewood, WA and Sylvia LaCour-Williams of Shreveport, LA.; his uncle Roylin LaCour (Loocey); and his daughters, Morgan Nelms and Danica Bartholomew. He is also survived by one brother-in-law; five sisters-in-law; nieces; nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament (1558 Buena Vista St, Shreveport, LA 71101). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery (2300 Texas Ave, Shreveport, LA 71103).
