She was predeceased by: her parents, Arvie Shofner and Della Shofner; her former husband Reverend W. Dwayne Furlow; her husband C. J. Hamaker; and her grandsons, Matthew Furlow and Ethan Hamaker.
She is survived by: her children, Ronnie Furlow (Donna), Randy Hamaker (Sheila), Glen Gordon (Remy), Nancy Nugent (Allen) and Kathy Furlow; her grandchildren, Kaley Dirks (Clay), Nathan Hamaker (Lizzie), Miranda Campos (Brian), Allie Hamaker (Travis Williams), Tammy Rogers (Sam), Chris Nugent, Kevin Gordon (Boo), Susanne Smith (Greg), Kasey Neal (Dustin) and Wesley Williams (Ali); and her great grandchildren, Cooper, Jack Hamaker and Daisy Williams.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home (2500 Southside Dr, Shreveport, LA 71118). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 at the Oaklawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials or donations be made to the youth ministry at Summer Grove Baptist Church.
