He is survived by: his children, Marlene Enders (Rickey), Col. Lesa Tilley, Jerri Kaner, Melissa Harris (Will), Karen Rice (Katy), John Rice (Gina) and Alfonso Garcia, III; and his siblings, Eugene, Nathan, Herman Rice, Jessie Massey and Wanda Cox. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
