He was predeceased by: his parents, Joyce Ferguson and Cliff William Smith; and his grandparent Esma Ferguson. He is survived by: his wife Doris Smith; his children, Lisa Benson (LJ Benson) and Kai Smith (Jessica Esparza); his grandchildren, Emma, Harper and Gracie; his brother Jeff Smith; and his pet Heidi.
