With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Williams Edwards of Shreveport, Louisiana, who passed away on March 10, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Williams shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Williams farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Deacon Albert R. Williams Sr. and Willie Mae Washington Williams; and her brothers, Albert Jr. and Alfred Lee. She is survived by: her children, Marian Edwards Arrington Cale and Mervin Kent Edwards; her grandson Andray Edwards; and her sister Eula Johnson of Houston.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Winnfield Funeral Homes - Shreveport (3701 Hollywood Ave, Shreveport, LA 71109). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Round Grove Memorial Gardens (2869 Round Grove Ln, Shreveport, LA 71107).
