She was predeceased by: her parents, Earnest Hight and Wilma O'Neal Booker. She is survived by: her husband Dale Fox; her children, Norman Burkett of Dallas, Robert Lewis (Melissa) of Cookeville, TN and Shelia Burkett Blankenship (Billy) of Pelican; her siblings, Linda Early of Shreveport, Judy Anthony (Mack) of Woodville, TX, Robert Hight (Sherry) of Pelican La and Tom Hight of Florida; her children, Donald Burkett (Don) and Kristie Anders Cook; and her sister Joann Hight Fisher.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Provencal (123 Maple St, Robeline, LA 71469). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 12:15 PM at the Provencal Cemetery.
