He was predeceased by : his mother Thelma Bustin Tolbert; and his wife Shirley James Tolbert. He is survived by : his father Earnest "Boat" Tolbert; his daughters, Robin Whisonant (Kevin) of Winnfield, LA and Becky Herring; his grandchildren, Brooklyn Zimmerman, Katlyn Scott (Brandon), Megan Zimmerman Potts (Kyle), Caroline Herring Adams (Christian), Amy Whisonant Yerby (Christopher) and Kyle Whisonant (Caitlin); and his great grandchildren, Mallory, Grayslyn, Mason, Kaydence, Bentlee, Jackson, Pierson, Kyleigh, Cutter, Kreed, Kambry, Karter and Kooper.
