Barbara Bourgeois Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara Bourgeois of Slaughter, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 5, 2025 at the age of 79. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Barbara Bourgeois to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her husband Philip L. Bourgeois; and her parents, Jimmie Joseph and Dorothy Charrier Firmin of Slaughter. She is survived by: her children, Shane Bourgeois (Sheilla), TJ Booth (Not) and Dawn B. Gulledge (Trey); her grandchildren, PJ, Trace (Katlyn), Logan (Hunter), Caleb, Cheyenne and Jesse; her great grandchildren, Wyatt, Liam, Everly and Wylder; her sister Joann F. Ilgenfritz; her son Philip L. Bourgeois Jr.; her siblings, Roy Firmin, Ronald "Ronnie" Firmin, Jimmie Firmin and Dorothy Firmin Doucet; her nephew Jim Firmin; and her great-nephew Ronnie Firmin. She is also survived by many brothers/Sisters in law, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude's Research Hospital.
