With sadness, we share the passing of Gregory Winans of Slaughter, Louisiana. Gregory, born on October 10, 1953 in Decatur, Indiana, passed away on September 18, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Delena Sue Callahan Winans; his children, Stephanie Winans Ard (Matthew), Shane Lad Winans (Felicia) and Justin Ira "Tigy" Winans (Emily); his mother Marie Rowdon Winans Rauch; his brother Douglas "Doug" Wayne Winans (Irene); his grandchildren, Shane Dillon Winans, Tyler Michael Winans, Hunter James Solar, Alex Michael Ard, Hannah Winans Amy, Haley Winans Boeneke, Delaney Ard Brown, McKenzie Lea, Mallory Rae Keller, Dayton Kole Winans and Sawyer Tate Winans; his great grandchildren, Emmie, Christopher Ard, Sadie, Claire Brown, Hadley Boeneke, Oaklyn Amy and Lakin Winans; his father Ira Donald Winans; and his brother Clarence Emerson Winans.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Slaughter First Baptist Church (3227 Church St, Slaughter, LA 70777). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Shriner's Hospital.
