He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Julian Ruff and Emmie Peairs Ruff; his brothers, Frank, Ray and Roy; his wife Dolores Needham; his son Leslie "Buddy" Ruff (Margaret); his stepson Donny Smith; and his children, Susan Cucci, Scott, Todd, Cindy Stokes, Chuck, Caleb, Christina, Joanne Ducharme (Chuck), Regan and Rory Callahan.
