Alan Anthony Templet Obituary

Alan Anthony Templet, of Slidell, Louisiana, unexpectedly passed away on January 5, 2021 at the age of 56. He was a native of New Orleans, Louisiana, born on May 1, 1964 to the late Alcuin J. Templet Sr. and Erlene A. Jourdan. Alan is the beloved husband of Alana L. Templet; loving father of Joshua W. Closson, Linsey "Sue Boo" Templet, and Jacob R. Bales; and caring brother of Debbie Melerine, Dayna Templet, Tanya Kimberlin, and the late Alcuin J. Templet Jr. Alan graduated from Pearl River High School with the Class of 84.

He was a painter by trade and the owner of A-Team Painting and Repair, LLC. Alan was a genuine people person and a devoted Saints and LSU fan. He enjoyed building and construction and in true New Orleans' fashion, he enjoyed Cajun music, entertaining, fishing, and cooking. Alan touched many lives and will be greatly missed.
