He was predeceased by: his parents, Genevieve Joachim and Joseph Readeau; his siblings, Joseph, Elsie, Melvin and Gerard; his wife Patricia Bonnecarrere Readeau; and his child Angel Readeau.
He is survived by: his children, Barry Readeau and Bridget Readeau (Chris); his grandchildren, Briana Fuller (Travis) and Brandon Vallelungo (Hannah); and his great grandchildren, Zoe, Bennett and Ellie.
A burial will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery (34888 Grantham College Dr, Slidell, LA 70460). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to any Veteran Organization in Alvin's name.
