She was predeceased by: her husband Paul Hancock; her parents, Gilruth Darrington and Anne Darrington; her grandson Christopher Smith; and her sister Pauline Boyd.

She is survived by: her children, Paul Hancock Jr. (Sheila) and Anne Smith (John); her grandchildren, Steven Smith, Mallory Hancock and Courtney Hancock; and her sister Prudence Stain.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital or the Red Cross.
