We announce the death of Billie Sturrock of Slidell, Louisiana, who passed away on May 31, 2026, at the age of 92. Billie will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Billie will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Billie will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Billie’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Oldham and Louise Oldham; her husband Alex Sturrock; and her daughter Stacie Sturrock Walker. She is survived by: her son Sandy Sturrock of Cumming, Georgia; her granddaughter Alexis Estes (Alex); her great grandchildren, Archer and Avery Estes of Cumming; and her son-in-law Rusty Walker of New Orleans. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to the National Association for Alzheimer's in honor of Billie Louise Sturrock.
