It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carrie Anthony of Slidell, Louisiana, who passed away on April 12, 2026, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Carrie may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Carrie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parent Stella Caston; her daughter Joann Washington; and her siblings, Katie Mae Harrell, Curtis Bates, Leon Aych, Lee Taplin and Herman Caston.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Sylve (Johnny) of St. Gabriel, LA, Kim Patrick (Michael) of Slidell, LA, Beverly Anthony of New Orleans, LA and Leonard Anthony of Lacombe, LA; and her sister Martha Williams of Kenner, LA.. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
