It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles B. Chapman Jr. of Slidell, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on February 14, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles B. Chapman Sr. and Leoma Walker Chapman; and his sister Elenore A. Stump. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn M. Chapman; his children, Charles B. Chapman III (Heidi) and Cary J. Chapman (Joanne); his grandsons, Charles B. Chapman IV and Connor J. Chapman; and his brother Ronald S. Chapman (Margaret).

Charles was an active member of the United States Power Squadron, where he donated his time inspecting boats and ships for safety.
