He was predeceased by: his wife Gwendolyn S. Burrell; his parents, James Lewis Burrell and Lillie Mae Burrell; and his siblings, Velma Lucille Barrett, Dave Serilla Burrell, Stella Elizabeth McNeal, Allen Leon Burrell, Herman Edward Burrell, Elsie Marie Jones, James Willis Burrell, Nancy Katherine Burr, Ollie May Yarborgh and Arthur Elise Burrell.
He is survived by: his children, Clyde William Burrell Jr., Belva Myles (John), Cynthia Marie Cornibe (Robert) and Diane Sheila Braun; his grandchildren, Robert Lee Cornibe Jr., Joshua Noel Cornibe, Mary Courtney Burrell, Ashley Nicole Walker and Angelia Casey Braun; his great grandchildren, Robert Lee Cornibe III, Johnathan Bernard, Ronnie Walker, Karen Diane Morrow, Irene Vivian Conteras, Cynthia Evelyn Burrell and Madelyn Elizabeth Warlow; his granddaughter Kristen Lynn Petty; his great grandchild Conner Allen Petty (Harper Nicole Petty); and his sisters, Eudora Elizabeth Deangelo and Wilma Irene VanWinkle. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
