It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Lawrence Hansen of Slidell, Louisiana, born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on May 10, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Hansen and Hazel Christianson; and his sisters, Carol Lomanaco and Sister Patricia Hansen. He is survived by: his wife Lauretta Hansen; his children, Karen May (John T. May Jr.) and Craig Hansen; and his grandchildren, John Ryan May and Cynthia Marie May Oakes. He is also survived by extended family members and friends.
