She was predeceased by: her husband Anthony Smith; her father George Gougisha; her grandparents, Milton Malveaux, Ortance Tezeno-Malveaux, Octave Gougisha and Margarite Gougisha; and her godparents, Elphage Hebert and Hilda Mae Malveaux.
She is survived by: her children, Glen Marshall, Jr. (Monique) and Jessica Thomas (Channing); her mother Mabel Gougisha; and her siblings, Marion G. Marshall and Sandra Morris. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
