He was predeceased by: his parents, William Calvin Milburn and Mary Joan Tenhundfeld Milburn; his sister Mary Milburn; his nephew Robert Patrick Modica; and his brothers-in-law, Robert Michael Modica and Kenneth Wear, Jr..

He is survived by: his close friend Katie Ashley; his children, James Ashley (Cara) and Krystal Griffin; his siblings, William Craig Milburn, Linda Smith (Brad), Susanne Modica, Stephanie Dickinson (Roger) and Marcia Wear; and his grandchildren, David Smith, Savannah Ashley, Vivian Ashley, Khloee Griffin, Jack Ashley, Bryce Griffin and Charlotte Ashley.
