It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eddie Carl Edwards of Slidell, Louisiana, who passed away on August 22, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Edwards and Amelia G. Waters Edwards; his stepson Paul T. Phelps of St. Bernard, Louisiana; and his brother Tony Edwards. He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann Kramer Edwards; his son Christopher L. Edwards of Illinois; his stepsons, Robert J. Phelps (Antoinette) of Florida and Gregory M. Phelps (Tiffany) of St. Bernard; his grandson Ethan G. Phelps; and his siblings, Demetra Ann Howie, Charles Edwards, Gaylen Edwards and Keenan Edwards. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
