Edward Doyle Freeman Obituary
We bid farewell to Edward Doyle Freeman of Slidell, Louisiana, born in Tylertown, Mississippi, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 17, 2025 at the age of 81. Edward touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lacy Freeman and Velma Freeman; and his brother Larry Freeman. He is survived by: his wife Jane Slay Freeman; his sons, Michael Freeman (Sheila) of Canton and Mark Freeman (Kathryn) of Bourne; his granddaughters, Emma Freeman and Madelyn Freeman; and his siblings, Ann Webb, Wanda Lipscomb and Ronnie Freeman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Elim Baptist Church Cemetery (Quitman, MS 39355). Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Grace Memorial Church (58516 Pearl Acres Rd, Slidell, LA 70461). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
