She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Richard Mitchell and Vennie Louise Triggs; her boyfriend Robert "Bobby" Cockerham; her son Ronald "Ronnie" Monroe Secco II; her brother Harold "Whitey" Mitchell; and her half-brothers, Robert "Bob" Havard and Lawrence "Larry" Havard.
She is survived by: her great grandchildren, Houston Smith and Kristopher Lejeune Jr.; her sisters, Elaine Louise Mitchell and Linda Mitchell Jones; and her half-sisters, Patricia Netterville Smith, Melba Wisner Ellzey, Cora Olier, Crystal Cockerham Ramsey and Robyn Cockerham Armer. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
