It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Frank Brocato Jr. of Slidell, Louisiana, born in Ferriday, Louisiana, who passed away on March 30, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn Brocato; his son Phillip Brocato; his parents, Lydia Marie and Frank Brocato Sr.; and his siblings, Joe, Tony and Trish.

He is survived by: his sons, Anthony Brocato, Blake Brocato (Andrea) and Mitchell Brocato (Krissy); his grandchildren, Caroline, Alexandra, Kate and Milla; and his sisters, Gloria and Judy. He is also survived by extended family and friends.

“Frank was a wonderful athlete for the Ferriday High School Football Team in the 50s. He was a gifted athlete and a wonderful friend. I miss the entire Brocato family: Mr.s and Mrs. Brocato, Frank, Tony, Joe, Judy, and Patricia. Of course, I ,as a teenage, will always remember the beautiful Gloria with her wonderful singing voice. Rest in Peace, Frank, You deserve it! From Jimmy Young”
