She was predeceased by: her mother Elly Sittig Poppel; her stepfather Master; and her father Fredrich Wilhelm Poppel. She is survived by: her sister Ingrid Schach of Helmbrechts, Germany; her husband John Shoup of New Orleans; and her stepson Erik Shoup of Montreal.
