She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob "Jake" Winkler and Shirley Alexander Winkler; and her brother Randy Winkler. She is survived by: her husband Jay Castagnetta; her son Harold Allen III (Taylor) of Robert, Louisiana; her stepsons, Joshua A. Castagnetta of New Market, Alabama, Joshua R. Tzuanos of Metairie, Louisiana and Michael A. Castagnetta of Mandeville, Louisiana.; her grandchildren, Karson, Hope and Thane Allen; her sisters, Sherrie Winkler Helbach (Donald) and Rebecca Winkler Vath (Ray); and her sister-in-law Pam Winkler. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
A burial will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery (34888 Grantham College Dr, Slidell, LA 70460). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Jackson Barracks (6400 St Claude Ave, New Orleans, LA 70117).
