It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Byrnes of Slidell, Louisiana, who passed away on May 3, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Byrnes IV. She is survived by: her children, Richard Byrnes V and Kismine Byrnes Helmke (Jason); her grandchildren, Jason Helmke Jr., Grace Helmke and Richard Byrnes VI; and her siblings, James Manning, Danny West and Susan Crain.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Honaker Funeral Home (1751 Gause Blvd W, Slidell, LA 70460). A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, May 12th 2025 at the Forest Lawn Cemetery (1751 Gause Blvd W, Slidell, LA 70460).
