It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herbert Harris (Slidell, Louisiana), born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on July 17, 2023, at the age of 50, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillie Mae Harris and Jeff; his brother Henry Harris; his grandparents, Elma Harris and Albert; and his aunts, Alice Harris, Delores Gaines, Viola Yoe, Clara Beasley (Bernard Gaines Sr.), Trina Gaines Herrington Cannon and Gabrielle Herrington.
He is survived by: his significant other Sharon Magee; his children, Ethan Thomas, Diondraniece and Chamiese Magee; his brother Allen Harris; his uncle Henry Harris; his aunt Minister Willemese Sandifer; and his godson Garry Herrington. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, generations of cousins and friends.
