He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert C. Sale Sr. and Louise Nelson Sale. He is survived by: his wife Suzy; his brother Jimmy; his children, Chris Sale (Cherise), Andy Sale (Amy) and Marcy Landry; and his grandchildren, Suzanne Russo, Isabelle Landry (Marcy), Andre', Simone Sale (Chris), Andrew and Max Sale (Andy).

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Genevieve Catholic Church (58025 St Genevieve Ln, Slidell, LA 70460). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for any consideration of donations to go to Enhabit Hospice (https://enhabitcares.org.) who loved Herb with incredible compassion to the very end.
