He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Katheryn "Becky" Hyde Ray; his children, Martin Ray and Renae' Montegut (Jason); his granddaughter Taylor Ray; his sister Lillie Frederic (James "Feet"); his siblings-in-law, Patsy Ray and Frank Hyde (Janelle); his niece Godchild Denise Robinson; his nephew Godchild Darren Braud; his parents, Henry Ray, and Earlene Ray, Sr.; his parents-in-law, Bennie Frank and Catherine Hyde; his siblings, Virgil "Buddy" Ray (Norma), Manuel Ray, Gene Ray, Henry Ray, Jr., Jeanette Kling (Alex Kling, Jr.) and Marie Braud (Gary Braud); and his son Eric Alexander. He was also cherished by great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations are made to Tunnel to Towers in Howard's memory.
