It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Huey Edward McDowell of Slidell, Louisiana, who passed away on April 1, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Ethel McDowell and Roland McDowell Sr.; and his siblings, Gwen Sullivan (Dudley) and Roland "Buddy" McDowell Jr.. He is survived by : his wife Carolyn McDowell; his son Denny McDowell; his daughter-in-law Kathy McDowell; his sister-in-law Janice McDowell; his granddaughter Kimberly Rivera (Jose); his great grandchildren, Miles, Josie and Rosemary Hasting; and also, Amelia and Jude.
