He was predeceased by: his parents, James Virgil Reese and Dorothy Ellis Reese; his stepdaughter Geneva Taylor; and his siblings, Hoyt Reese and Patricia Reese Picou.
He is survived by: his wife Margery F. Reese; his brothers, Charles and Tommy Reese; his children, Teresa Berdine (Todd), Tina Faciane (Michael), Tanya Montz and James Mathew Reese (Clarissa); his grandchildren, Crystal Ducote, Brittany Berdine, Austin Faciane, Danielle Landry, Cody Faciane, Heidi Montz of James, Alexis Reese, Joseph Reese, Grant Taylor, Claire Taylor, Chloe Taylor and Evelyn Gentry; his great grandchildren, Rilan Montz, Sloane Ducote, Elijah Moran, Harrison Ducote and Addie Faciane; and his stepsons, Kevin Taylor (Christine) and David Taylor (Lauren).
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery (34888 Grantham College Dr, Slidell, LA 70460).
