He is survived by: his spouse Claire Ouder Hicks; his grandchildren, Mason Emmett Murphy Hicks and Camille Marie Hicks; his sibling Eugene Odell Hicks, Jr.; and his parents-in-law, Clifford Clay Ouder, Sr and Deola Galatas Ouder.
