It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Thomas Fayard of Slidell, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on January 4, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Dana Sellier Fayard; his mother Gertrude Landry; and his sister Carol Fayard Barrack. He is survived by: his sons, Del Fayard (Kristine), Jared Fayard and Chet Fayard; his grandchildren, Katherine Sloup (Aaron), Christopher Zalewski, Brandon Zalewski, Micaela Fayard, Caleb Clay, Kassidi Fayard and Peyton Fayard; his great grandchildren, Brynlee Zalewski and Colton Zaweleski; and his siblings, Lionel Fayard (Sue), Karen Fayard Landry (George) and E. J. Fayard (Sandra). He is also survived by extended family members and friends.
