In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Jeanette leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Jeanette may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sanday Smith and Dorothy Mccoy Smith; her aunt Tiny Coleman; and her siblings, Lula Ward and Samuel Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Kimberly Harrison, Patrice Swan, Charlie Smith Sr. and Janay Williams. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Boyd Family Funeral Home (5001 Chef Menteur Hwy, New Orleans, LA 70126). A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
