He was predeceased by: his parents, Everette John and Cora Belle Butts Eidson; and his siblings, Joseph Lee, Jackie Eidson Reynolds and Ouida Joyce Eidson (Brenda Joyce Stokes).
He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Ross Eidson; his pets, Faith and Bella; his sisters, Jimmie Eidson and Linda Eidson Chase; and his sisters-in-law, Barbara Stokes Pierce and Donna Kay Stokes Byars (Donald Green). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Honaker Funeral Home (1751 Gause Blvd W, Slidell, LA 70460).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to your local food bank or animal shelter, as John loved helping others.
