He was predeceased by: his parents, John Joseph Schluter Sr. and Lucille Anderson Schluter; his wife Mildred Wetzel Schluter; and his grandchild Macy O'Brien. He is survived by: his children, Sharon Marie Schluter (Catherine), Michelle Lucille Schluter-Ford (Richard) and John Joseph Schluter III (Jill); his grandchildren, John Joseph Schluter IV, Brody Taillac Schluter and Torin Michael Schluter; his great grandchildren, Daniel J. Bowman Jr. and Mary Jane Hudson; and his siblings, James F. Schluter, Jane Vicknair and Regina Mevers.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Big Sky Ranch/CATNIP Foundation are preferred.
