He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawerence Nette and Ruby Nette; his spouse Lotta Beeson Nette; and his siblings, Dolores Granmo, Bette Thompson, Gloria Caracci, Raymond Nette, Lawerence Nette Jr., Frank Nette, Earl Nette, Jimmy Marvin Nette, Wayne Nette, Rosemary Nette and Rita Nette.
He is survived by: his children, Susan Nette Gottschalk (Wilton), Mark S. Nette (Shawn), Ryan M. Nette (Shannan) and John P. Nette Jr. (Mindy); his grandchildren, Tyler Sabathe, Kasey Gottschalk, Lauren Gottschalk, Chelsea Nette Robertson, Cameron Nette, Madison Nette, Katie Nette, Lanie Nette and Sara Nette; his great grandchildren, Nolan, Jace, Ava and CJ; and his sister Peggy Muniz.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Audubon Funeral Home (61101 US-11, Slidell, LA 70458). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
