He is survived by: his wife Janet Jackson Taylor; his children, Rachel Taylor Schmidt and Jamie Taylor Stephens (Jacob); his grandchildren, Daniel Ethan Schmidt, Joshua Austin Schmidt, Abby Taylor Schmidt, Charleigh Madelyn Schmidt and Jackson Xavier Stephens; his siblings-in-law, Louis D. Jackson (Marion) and Barbara Stewart (Brune); and his sisters, Charlotte Barre (Ray), Barbara Thonn (Gary) and Lisa Chachatti (Mark).

[We talked to Paul for 20 minutes that day.] John and I soon became good friends and we hung out together for over 5 years.
