He was predeceased by : his wife Dorothy Martin Lyons; and his parents, Joseph Harold Lyons and Theresa Walker Lyons. He is survived by : his children, Sandra O'Flynn (late Jimmy), Jack Lyons (Barbara) and Lori Offner (late Don). He is also survived by six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and one great great granddaughter.
