She was predeceased by: her husband Vernon Cuevas; her parents, Alvin Galatas and Leocadie Galatas; her brothers, Floyd (Sonny), Wesley, Ronald and Robert Galatas; her grandchildren, Beau, Kelsea and Brandon; and her great grandchild Leocadie.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Jenkins (Martin), Lynne Cuevas-Braden, Tony Cuevas (Leo), Paul Cuevas, Mark Cuevas (Lelian) and Lisa Impastato (Barry); her brother Danny Galatas; her sister-in-law Nancy Galatas; her grandchildren, Dana, Farrah, Kristen, Rani, Tabatha, Fawn, Hayley, Mason, Brenna, Amanda, Sydney, Elijah, Adam, Jeff, Aaron and Gabriel; and her great grandchildren, Jenna, Tyler, Beau, Caden, Will, Shelby, Jack, Macie, Cadie, Emily, Wyatt M., Wyatt F., Kenzie, Roman, Ivy, Iris, Wrenly, Shiana, Lainey, Tailor, Ethan, Jace, Jordyn, Saeleah and Novaleigh.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Genevieve Catholic Church (58203 LA-433, Slidell, LA 70460). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Forest Lawn Cemetery (1751 Gause Blvd W, Slidell, LA 70460).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St. Genevieve Church.
