We are sad to announce that on July 28, 2025, at the age of 41, Keith D. Hooks Jr. of Slidell, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Keith departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Keith may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Keith leaves behind.
He is survived by: his wife Heather Powers Hooks; his parents, Jan Hooks and Keith Hooks; his siblings, Connie Smith (Cary) and Angele Hoppe (Ryan); and his in-laws, Vanessa and George W. Powers III. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, brothers and sisters-in- law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Audubon Funeral Home & Cremation Services (61101 US-11, Slidell, LA 70458). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
