She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Leonard Avants Jr. and Catherine Cashio Avants; and her sisters, Patricia Lynn Avants and Cathy Gayle Avants. She is survived by: her husband Boyce Brogdon; her stepdaughter Natausha Dufrene; her grandchildren, Justin Turner, Kadence Moore, Nicholas Womack, Robert Moore and Emma Womack; her stepgrandchildren, Tonya Folse, Trey Folse Jr. (TJ), Kason Dufrene, Kaylee Dufrene and Kameron Dufrene; and her siblings, Gary Leonard Avants, Wanda Avants Torres, Janet Avants Soileau and Joseph Keith Avants. She is also survived by many cousins, aunts, uncles, and more friends.
