We are sad to announce that on February 21, 2024, at the age of 71, Lana Diane Mayer of Slidell, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Nicholas Marko Gerica and Ramona Grace Guerrera Gerica. She is survived by : her husband Louis James Mayer; her brother Peter Gerica; and her niece Christina Gerica. She is also survived by several relatives and close friends.

Prior to COVID 19, she participated in several weekly markets in New Orleans, LA.

Lana donated to the restoration of General Jackson's uniform at VMI which he wore at First Manassas in 1861.
