He was predeceased by: his significant other Lynn Pendarvis Murphy; his parents, Evelyn Guichard Pendarvis and Clifton I. Pendarvis; and his sisters, Mercedes Pendarvis Lee, Blanche Pendarvis Norton and Celine DiMacco.
He is survived by: his daughters, Paula Pendarvis-Milham (Dan) and Lisa Pendarvis (Charles Lindell); his grandson Carl Pendarvis Arredondo IV; and his friend Pete Fountain. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
