It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marek Andrzej Szatsznajder of Slidell, Louisiana, who passed away on July 11, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Marek Andrzej leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Marek Andrzej may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Annette Szatsznajder; his mother Marianna Szatsznajder of Melbourne; his sibling Krys Szatsznajder (Barbara) of Melbourne; and his brother-in-law Raymond Blackie (Theresa) of Calgary.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Honaker Funeral Home (1751 Gause Blvd W, Slidell, LA 70460). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations would be appreciated to American Heart Association @ heart.org or Arthritis Foundation http://www.arthritis.org.
