She was predeceased by: her husband Peter Sovecka; and her parents, Stephen John and Anna Marie Yaindl (Gorza). She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Rajki (Ron) of Slidell, LA and Elizabeth Pettis (Michael Slimak) of Wake Forest, NC; her grandchildren, Sean Reagan, Michelle Rajki Jacobson, Brian Pettis, Kevin Pettis and Lorie Pettis Riehs; and her sister-in-law Gloria Yaindl. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
