He was predeceased by: his brother Bill (Pam); his parents, Wallace C Dossett and Tommie Jean Lee Dossett; his grandparents, Wes, Ophelia Lee, William and Mary Alice Dossett; and his brothers-in-law, Dewey Eaves and Jack Nicolay.

He is survived by: his sister Annette Nicolay; his aunt Grace Goode; and his nieces and nephews, Tommy, Jesse (Carol Leigh), Lane (Kandy), Clint (Kim), Heather Purvis (Eddie), Hannah and Kailey Dossett.
