He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Maurice Durel and Beryl Durel; his wife Karen; his children, Debbie (Irion), Michele (Dennis), Diane and Michael (Stacy); and his sister Jackie (Bernie). He was also cherished by eight grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
